Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM platform in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into software development and network infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC or cybersecurity role, with a focus on threat hunting.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Splunk Enterprise Security, or ArcSight).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and common attack vectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings to stakeholders.
