Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and investigate potential cyber threats

- Analyze malware and advanced persistent threats using forensic tools
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive dashboards
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and security automation tools
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with incident response procedures and forensic investigation tools
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and under pressure during security incidents
