Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security anomalies and threat indicators
- Lead incident response activities including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for emerging threat vectors
- Collaborate with network and cloud teams to implement security controls
- Generate executive-level security metrics and threat intelligence reports
- Participate in 24/7 rotation for critical incident response
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC or incident response roles
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification (or equivalent)
- Expertise in SIEM correlation rules and threat detection techniques
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Experience with network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
