As a key player in our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll analyze complex security data, respond to incidents with precision, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build resilient defense systems. Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations and root cause analysis of security incidents
- Develop and implement threat detection strategies using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden systems
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Lead incident response procedures during security breaches
- Stay current on emerging threats and countermeasures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations, threat detection, or incident response
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and compliance frameworks
- Ability to work under pressure during high-stakes incidents
