Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and develop mitigation strategies
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports and executive dashboards
- Collaborate with IT teams on vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with incident response and threat intelligence
