Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors for proactive defense
- Manage security alerts and coordinate incident response with cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS systems, and network security tools
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and common attack vectors
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
