Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic analysis on security breaches and develop mitigation strategies
- Implement and maintain network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps and optimize security posture
- Generate executive security reports and compliance documentation
- Lead incident response drills and security awareness training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC analyst roles
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize security incidents
- Valid Colorado driver's license for occasional on-site client visits
