We are seeking a highly motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite defense team in the heart of Atlanta. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents that threaten our global infrastructure. You will work in a state-of-the-art Security Operations Center (SOC) alongside industry veterans, utilizing cutting-edge tools to protect sensitive data.

Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and SOAR platforms.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate security incidents and develop incident response plans to minimize downtime.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and improve overall system security posture.
- Perform security awareness training and create incident reports for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network defense.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation and log analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.
