Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats
- Conduct incident response investigations and coordinate remediation activities
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of network systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend defensive improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure during incidents
