Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber incidents in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls across cloud and on-premise environments
- Analyze malware and attack vectors to enhance threat detection capabilities
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR) and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and vulnerability scanning tools
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize security incidents
