Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using provided SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing with supplied hardware/software
- Incident response coordination using forensic analysis tools provided by the company
- Develop security documentation and playbooks using our standardized templates
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls using provided resources
- Stay updated on emerging threats through our curated research platforms
- Participate in security awareness training using our learning management system
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (or equivalent)
- Experience with network security protocols and firewalls
- Knowledge of incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
- Ability to work with provided forensic tools (EnCase, FTK)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Active security clearance preferred (equipment access required)
