Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze SIEM alerts (Splunk/Symantec) to detect advanced persistent threats
- Lead incident response for ransomware, APTs, and zero-day exploits
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud infrastructure
- Develop playbooks for MITRE ATT&CK framework implementation
- Collaborate with CISOs to design NIST 800-53 compliant security controls
- Forensic investigation of security breaches and malware analysis
- Maintain SOC documentation and threat intelligence dashboards
Qualifications
- 3+ years SOC experience with SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar)
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS) and cloud security
- Hands-on experience with incident response (NIST SP 800-61)
- Proficient in Python/PowerShell for automation tasks
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Experience in healthcare or financial sector compliance (HIPAA/GLBA)
