Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM tools 24/7 to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents
- Conduct forensic investigations and threat hunting across network endpoints
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement vulnerability patches and hardening measures
- Perform security assessments and penetration testing for client environments
- Stay current with threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
- Lead incident response activities during security breaches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or incident response roles
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and Windows/Linux systems
- Experience with threat intelligence feeds and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 10% of time
