Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec) for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and generate detailed reports
- Implement vulnerability assessments and penetration testing results
- Develop playbooks for emerging threats (ransomware, APTs)
- Collaborate with network teams to harden infrastructure
- Lead tabletop exercises for incident response preparedness
- Stay current on MITRE ATT&CK framework and zero-day threats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in CS/Cybersecurity or 5+ years equivalent experience
- CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Experience with NIST 800-53 framework and compliance
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Windows/Linux systems
- Forensics experience with tools like EnCase or FTK
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts for incident response
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
