Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and anomalies
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework methodologies
- Lead incident response lifecycle from detection to remediation
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Stay current on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience in SOC environments
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with Windows/Linux endpoint security
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and architectures
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts during critical incidents
