Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Incident response coordination including forensic analysis and mitigation procedures
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and threat intelligence trends
- Perform security audits and compliance checks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of threat detection methodologies and incident response
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize security incidents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
