Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk, QRadar, and AlienVault
- Lead incident response for malware, phishing, and DDoS attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security documentation including playbooks and runbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement NIST 800-53 controls
- Generate executive security dashboards and threat intelligence reports
- Maintain compliance with PCI-DSS and HIPAA requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years SOC experience with SIEM tools
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Experience with threat hunting frameworks
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (4 days on/4 days off)
