Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms to detect and respond to cyber incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement security controls aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies
- Document security incidents, forensic analysis, and remediation efforts
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
- Participate in incident response drills and security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Security certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of network protocols and system architectures
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and vulnerability scanning tools
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize security incidents
- Valid U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one
