Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats
- Conduct incident investigations, forensic analysis, and coordinate response protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis role
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud platforms, and threat intelligence
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, SANS)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
