Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security policies aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps and harden systems
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive security dashboards
- Stay current with emerging threats via threat intelligence platforms (Recorded Future)
- Lead security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or analyst roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with network security protocols (Firewall, VPN, IDS)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to prioritize incidents and work under pressure during security breaches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites
