Our Boston hub features state-of-the-art labs, collaborative spaces, and easy access to public transit. We embrace remote flexibility for 2 days/week while maintaining in-person collaboration on Wednesdays. This role reports to our Director of Security Operations and offers clear pathways to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate cyber incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for incident response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical assets
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate executive security reports and compliance documentation
- Stay current with emerging threats and countermeasures through continuous learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat detection
- Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, network protocols, and log analysis
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- US citizenship or permanent residency required (due to client requirements)
