What You'll Achieve: Lead incident response operations, architect security frameworks, and mentor junior analysts. Work with cutting-edge tools like Splunk and Palo Alto Networks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce security risks by 40% annually.
Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and analysis
- Lead incident response investigations including malware analysis and threat hunting
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-prem environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security controls and hardening
- Generate executive-level security reports and KPI dashboards
- Stay current with emerging threats via threat intelligence platforms ( Recorded Future, Darktrace)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in NIST frameworks and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Excellent written/verbal communication for stakeholder reporting
