Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Investigate security incidents and lead forensic analysis when breaches occur
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in a similar role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and network security tools
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance requirements
- Experience with incident response and threat hunting methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
