Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using Splunk and IBM QRadar
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid infrastructures
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks
- Analyze threat intelligence using MITRE ATT&CK framework methodologies
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Conduct quarterly security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat detection environments
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP or CEH certifications required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Experience with NIST frameworks and ISO 27001 compliance
- Strong analytical skills with forensic investigation background
- Excellent written communication for reporting and documentation
