Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response investigations and forensic analysis
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint security solutions
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and document security policies, procedures, and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and PCI-DSS standards
- Lead security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience in financial services or regulated industries
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and log analysis
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and encryption
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
