Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and runbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze threat intelligence feeds and provide actionable recommendations
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with threat hunting and malware analysis techniques
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
