Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential breaches using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and execute breach containment
- Analyze network traffic for malicious activity using IDS/IPS
- Implement and maintain firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Generate security reports for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or analyst role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work rotating on-call schedule
