Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Analyze malware, intrusion attempts, and anomalous activity across enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIST)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM implementation
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture
- Experience with threat hunting methodologies and forensic analysis
- Ability to prioritize incidents and work effectively under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
