Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS) for suspicious activity and real-time threat detection
- Investigate security incidents using forensic tools and develop mitigation strategies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Experience with incident response procedures and threat hunting methodologies
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security issues
