Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze network traffic using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response, including containment, eradication, and recovery activities
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation, playbooks, and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and threat intelligence trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, and network security tools
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
