As a critical member of our security operations center, you will safeguard our enterprise infrastructure against sophisticated cyber threats while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for incident response procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Lead forensic investigations during security breaches
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC environments
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
