Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, playbooks)
- Implement network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Generate executive security reports and threat intelligence summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and network security protocols
- Experience with threat hunting and log analysis
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Excellent written communication and problem-solving skills
