Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Generate and analyze security intelligence reports for executive stakeholders
- Implement and optimize security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat analysis
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+)
- Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII)
- Proficiency in security automation (Python, PowerShell)
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) environments
