Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze network traffic and logs to identify potential threats and anomalies
- Lead security awareness training for employees
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ (required)
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and endpoint protection
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and security protocols
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
