Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough incident response and forensic analysis for security breaches and intrusions.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and penetration testing support.
- Ensure strict adherence to security policies, regulatory compliance (NIST, ISO 27001), and internal standards.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to patch vulnerabilities and implement secure coding practices.
- Generate detailed reports on security incidents, trends, and mitigation strategies for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network administration.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and network protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python/Bash) for automation and analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
