Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and document security incidents, including malware analysis and threat hunting
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Provide incident response support during security breaches
- Generate comprehensive security reports for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (NIST, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST SP 800-61)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
