Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for 24/7 threat detection
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and data breaches
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Generate security reports for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on SOC or security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight)
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
