Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across networks and systems
- Develop and implement security controls to mitigate emerging threats
- Analyze logs and alerts to identify anomalous activity and potential breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Create detailed incident reports and remediation plans for leadership review
- Stay current on threat intelligence and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (CEH preferred)
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex security data
