Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and breaches
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems
- Develop security documentation including playbooks and incident response plans
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and compliance requirements (NIST, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in security operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and security automation
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud security
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
