Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and potential threats in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network infrastructure.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPNs to ensure network integrity.
- Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and document findings to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to staff across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT operations.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and common attack vectors.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) and endpoint protection tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
