Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Generate detailed security reports and executive dashboards
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Research emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in threat detection/response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS systems, and network analysis
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
