Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security automation scripts to enhance threat detection
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Document security incidents, forensic analysis, and remediation procedures
- Lead security awareness training for employees across multiple departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations or incident response
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or Security+ (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations
- Ability to create executive-level security reports and dashboards
