We're urgently seeking a passionate Cybersecurity Analyst to bolster our 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC). Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and prioritize potential threats
- Investigate security incidents using forensic tools (Wireshark, EnCase) and coordinate rapid response protocols
- Develop and maintain threat detection rules for IDS/IPS systems (Suricata, Snort)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive summaries with actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, DevOps, Legal) on security remediation strategies
- Stay current on emerging threats and countermeasures through threat intelligence feeds (MISP, Recorded Future)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat analysis
- Active certification (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC)
- Proficiency in security tools: SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and network analyzers
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and common attack vectors
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61, SANS)
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations with minimal supervision
- Excellent written communication for documenting complex security events
