Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven urgency
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop/implement security policies and incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with network teams on firewall configurations and IDS/IPS tuning
- Generate executive security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Lead security awareness training for cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in threat detection and mitigation techniques
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, 24/7 operational environments
