Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and develop mitigation strategies
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze threat intelligence to proactively identify emerging risks
- Provide security awareness training to client stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or threat detection roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and system architectures
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Ability to thrive under pressure during security incidents
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
