Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts across enterprise infrastructure using Splunk and ArcSight SIEM platforms
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports focusing on APT groups and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems and applications
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Document security procedures and create executive-level threat briefings for leadership
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident response
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations, threat detection, or incident response
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Certification in CISSP, CISA, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (required)
- Experience with threat hunting methodologies and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation of security tasks
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days (preferred)
