Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response for APT campaigns
- Develop and implement security controls for NIST 800-53 compliance
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with SOC teams to mitigate zero-day exploits
- Create executive-level security dashboards and reports
- Maintain PCI-DSS and HIPAA security frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat analysis
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in Windows/Linux systems and network protocols
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence
- Proficiency in Python/SQL for security automation
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
- Strong written communication for incident documentation
