Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and anomalous activity
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Lead incident response lifecycle: identification, containment, eradication, and recovery
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, SOPs, dashboards)
- Collaborate with IT teams on security hardening and compliance initiatives
- Present threat intelligence briefings to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations, threat detection, or incident response
- CISSP, Security+, or GIAC certification preferred
- Expertise in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and NIST frameworks
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with compliance standards (ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Ability to work rotating shifts and high-pressure incident scenarios
