Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy multi-cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP) with IaC frameworks like Terraform
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, security, and performance using advanced monitoring tools
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
- Lead container orchestration projects with Kubernetes and Docker
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance frameworks (HIPAA/GDPR)
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation for critical infrastructure incidents
- Mentor junior engineers and document best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure certification
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless architectures
- Strong Python/Go scripting skills for automation
- Experience with network security (VPCs, VPNs, firewalls)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs by 20%+
- Ability to work independently during flexible hours (core hours: 10 AM-2 PM)
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
