Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins for automated deployments
- Optimize cloud costs through architectural improvements and resource monitoring
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to hybrid cloud environments
- Ensure security compliance through IAM policies, encryption, and network segmentation
- Monitor cloud performance using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, and Prometheus
- Document infrastructure blueprints and operational procedures
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and automation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS/Azure infrastructure services
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Strong understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- CCSP/AWS/Azure certifications preferred
- Knowledge of network fundamentals (DNS, VPNs, Load Balancers)
- Ability to collaborate across time zones with flexible core hours
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud environments for performance and cost
